Are you trusting the trailers?

Post by BlackCat on Sun Sep 25, 2016 7:58 pm

I don't trust them anymore since you can't know if you'll like it or not from the trailer. Ben Hur for example was a total Christian propaganda movie while looking like a bloody ancient time adventure. Jesus was played really great tho in it.

Yeah some trailers basically have the best scenes in there, the one of Suicide Squad was quite well made, they didn't even show joker that much.

I do and I don't. I watch trailers to know if there's a chance that I'll like the movie. True, they can also show you certain scenes to hide the movies true intent. But in most cases trailers are really helpful to me in deciding if I want to watch a movie or not.

That was a complaint from a lot of people. They advertised the crap out of the joker and then he was barely in the movie. To me, this wasn't surprising. The movie wasn't about him. Just like how they one of the most popular super heroes in the movie(batman) and he only had 45 seconds of screen time. Because it wasn't about him, it was about the suicide squad.
